Experts believe that Islam Karimov and Nursultan Nazarbayev intend to appeal against decision of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan to develop own hydroelectric power stations without coordination with stakeholders and compliance with required in this case conditions and international procedures. The Presidents intend to jointly protest against these plans during the upcoming Summit of Heads of States-Parties to the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea in Almaty in late April.
