DUSHANBE, April 13, 2009, Asia-Plus  – Over the first three months of this year, 3,333 crimes have been officially registered in the country, which is 2.8 percent, or 90 cases, more than in the same period of last year, the First Deputy Prosecutor-General, Abdusami Dadaboyev, remarked at a press conference in Dushanbe on April 13.

Over the report period, disciplinary actions have been introduced against 826 people, administrative actions have been introduced against 2,035 people and criminal proceedings have been instituted against 217 people following prosecutors’ applications, the deputy chief prosecutor said.

As a result of revelation of shortcomings and infringements a financial damage of more than 18 million somoni has been repaired over the same three-month period, Dadaboyev said.
