DUSHANBE, April 13, 2009, Asia-Plus – A general meeting of members of the Independent School of Journalism “Tajikistan – 21st Century” (School) was held at the School office in Dushanbe on April 11.

Speaking in an interview with Asia-Plus, the School executive director Safo Safarov said the meeting had heard the report of the School board on the results of work carried out last year and found the work satisfactory.

The general meeting also elected members of the School board for next three-year period.  Marat Mamadshoyev, Iskandar Firouz, Parvona Ahrori, Olga Tutubalina, and Avaz Yuldoshev were elected to the board.  Known Tajik journalist and skilled media trainer Iskandar Firouz was elected as chairman of the School board.
