KHUAJND, June 16, 2009, Asia-Plus  — Computers for the blind have been delivered to Khujand, the capital of the northern Sughd province for the typhlo-information study at local library named after Toshkhouja Asiri.

The typhlo-information study at the Khujand library is established within the framework of the “We Are Together” Project funded by the Open Society Institute/Assistance Foundation (OSI/AF).

Speaking in an interview with Asia-Plus, the project manager in Sughd, Ms. Munira Hakimova, said that it was the first such a computer equipment for the blind in Tajikistan.
