DUSHANBE, June 16, 2009, Asia-Plus  — The Prosecutor-General’s Office has instituted criminal proceedings against Mr. Hokimsho Tilloyev, the ex-director general of Tajik national air carrier, Tajik Air, Asia-Plus has learned from a source at the Tajik chief prosecutor’s office.

The source noted that criminal proceedings were not related to Tilloyev’s professional activity when he had headed Tajik Air.  “Criminal proceedings have been instituted following applications by a number of citizens concerning financial problems between them and Mr. Tilloyev,” the source said, refraining from giving further details of the proceedings.

We will recall the Hokimsho Tilloyev headed Tajik national air carrier from January 2006 to November 2008.
