DUSHANBE, July 29, 2009, Asia-Plus  — By decision of Tajik State Medical University’s Academic Council the Center for Translation of Medical Literature and Special Terminology will be set up at the University.

Tajik Medical University Chancellor Ubaidullo Qurbonov said in an interview with Asia-Plus that the center would be engaged in translating textbooks into the Tajik language, compiling medical dictionaries and editing research works by the university employees.

The center will also prepare methodological manuals for regulation of terminology and train professional translators of medical terminology, the chancellor said.
