QURGHON TEPPA, July 30, 2009, Asia-Plus  — Khatlon province has received the bodies of its 78 residents from the Russian Federation since the beginning of this year, Izatullo Ismoilov, the chief of the migration service within the Khatlon police directorate, said in an interview with Asia-Plus.

According to him, the listed causes of death were murder (13), disease (39) and accident (24).

More than 140,000 residents of the province currently work outside the country, Ismoilov said.
