President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received the Special Envoy of the King of Jordan for Central Asia, Abdullah Saleh Abdelkarim Voriekat, on August 11.

“Building bridges of friendship and cooperation with the Arab world is one of the most important priorities of the foreign policy strategy of Turkmenistan who is steadily implementing a policy of peace and international dialogue,” the Turkmen leader said during the meeting.

As the press service of the head of state reports, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov conveyed his best wishes to the King of Jordan Abdullah II, a direct descendant of Prophet Muhammad in the 43th generation, and an invitation to pay an official visit to Turkmenistan at any convenient time.

During the meeting the sides exchanged views on ways to build up mutually beneficial partnerships in trade and economy, energy, agriculture, industry and other spheres.
