Incomes of Uzbek population increase 35.9%

In first half of 2009 nominal money incomes of the population increased 35.9% in comparison with corresponding period of 2008, “Biznes-Vestnik Vostoka” (BVV) newspaper reported. Average monthly salary increased 40.1% for January-June of 2009.

Main income of the population constituted incomes from entrepreneurship, selling of agricultural products, property, and other sources (43%), which increased 31.7% in comparison with analogous period of last year.

Renumeration of labor and other incomes from enterprises increased 36.2%. Their total value constituted 39.4% of the total volume of money incomes. Moreover, growth of incomes of the population was ensured by increase in pensions, scholarships, and other social payments on 46.6% in comparison with January-June of 2008.
