DUSHANBE, September 1, 2009, Asia-Plus  — Three Tajik nationals will be deported from Iran by plane today for illegally staying in the country, according to the Tajik MFA information department.

The MFA spokesman Davlat Nazriyev told Asia-Plus today that 20 Tajik were deported from Iran in July-August this year for illegally staying there.

“Al those 20 Tajiks are young men who let their visas expire and some of them even did not have passports,” said Nazriyev, “All of them travelled to Iran unofficially and were studying at religious schools that did not have permit from Iranian authorities for such activity.”

The Tajik Embassy in Tehran got in touch with parents of the deported persons and provided them assistance with execution of papers and purchase of air tickets for returning home, the spokesman said.
