On September 30, in the conference hall of the Police Academy’s new building, the Turkmen President chaired an enlarged meeting of the State Security Council. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received the reports of the Security Council members, made new appointments and signed decrees.

The president relieved D. Sahedov of his post as Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Air Forces and Air Defense Troops of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan – the Chief of Staff of the Management of the Air Forces and Air Defense Troops of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan. I. Ismailov was appointed to this post.

In addition, he signed a resolution on the construction of modern apartment houses in Ashgabat and Atamurat in Lebap region for the families of the officers of the Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan.

The president also signed the Law of Turkmenistan “On the status and social protection of servicemen and their families”, providing a range of benefits for soldiers and their families, including the right to free holidays and treatment in recreational facilities and sanatoria of the Ministry of Defense and other agencies.
