Dushanbe. September 4th. “Asia-Plus” – Airline Company “Somon Air” collective on the eve have celebrated the Day of civil aircraft, which is in the country annually celebrated on September 3rd. As the Persian-service of airline marks, the general director of “Somon Air” Muzaffar Isokov has spoken before airline employees. He has noted the successes reached by company experts lately and has awarded the most succeeded experts with diplomas.

On the occasion of the 85th anniversary of civil aircraft and for excellent performance of labour duties, excellent job and innovation in work, “Somon Air” diplomas have been awarded to a airplane commander Rahmat Khusanov, the head of stewards group Makhfiza Safarova, the chief of a transportations department Ismoil Gafforov, commercial complex manager Makhfura Ali-Zade, the senior pilot Ibodullo Saidov, leading economist Lyudmila Hojaeva, staff member of technical complex Victor Lobanov and steward Abdullo Hamidov.

In his speech M. Isokov has noted, that the main task of “Somon Air” now is to raise its brand name all over the world. “I am assured that with the help of our professionals and talented experts we can achieve all our purposes”, – the general director of airline has declared.

On September, 3rd at the solemn assembly devoted to 85th anniversary of civil aircraft, which took place at “Somon Air” office, in his performance Muzaffar Isokov has emphasized, that an essential problem of Tajikistan aircraft today is updating aviation park. “The decision of this problem becomes a basis for development of branch in the future, – has noted M. Isokov. – Now new information technologies of service in every possible way take root, projects of the electronic ticket system and many other projects, directed on the further development of all structures of branch are realized.

After the official ceremony the rewarding ceremony of the best workers of modern Tajik aircraft, among which the diploma of the ministry of transport and communications of the RТ had been given to the “Somon Air” airplane commander Fayzullo Sattorov took place.

Inquiry: “Somon Air” Company is the first private airline in Tajikistan. The airline has begun its activity on February 5th, 2008 by performance of regular flights to the Russian Federation (Moscow). Following opening was a flight to Dubai (United Arab Emirates). Now almost 140 people work in the company. The current engineering and technical airline staff, regarding maintenance of planes services at the moment works together with skilled international company Turkish Technik. Simultaneously, engineering and technical staff are trained in the European centers.

 The “Somon Air” Company has begun its activity with the rented plane of Boeing 737-800type. At the moment, the air park has replenished with two new and modern planes Boeing 737-800, which on all parameters correspond to the international aviation norms and requirements.

Number of cities in the Russian Federation is at the moment expanded. The airline has begun flights to Krasnoyarsk from the airports of Dushanbe and Khujand.

 In the near future “Somon Air” will start to carry out flights to Tyumen, Orenburg and Sochi from the airports of Dushanbe and Khujand. Besides, “Somon Air” Company has already begun flights to St.-Petersburg from Dushanbe. The first airline flight to Frankfurt-on-Main (Germany) from Dushanbe took place on July 29th, 2009.
