DUSHANBE, October 6, 2009, Asia-Plus — The Novokuznetsk Puppet Show, Skaz (Tale), has begun a ten-day tour of Dushanbe.
Speaking in an interview with Asia-Plus, Izatullo Safarov, the stage director of the Tajik National Puppet Theatre, said that the Novokuznetsk Puppet Show will stay in Dushanbe till October 16 and would demonstrate one or two performances at the Tajik National Puppet Theatre per day.
“During their stay here, actors from the Novokuznetsk Puppet Show will also provide professional assistance to their Tajik colleagues,” said Safarov, “Russian puppeteers will also conduct a series of master-classes for students from Tajik Institute of Art.”
