First five-year plan of realization of the government”s development program will begin in Kazakhstan in 2010. The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, informed, agency reports citing official mass media.

“The government has developed the development program for 2010 – 2020. First five-year plan of realization of this program will begin in 2010,” N. Nazarbayev said, having noted that the economy of Kazakhstan will grow by 50 % by 2020.

He also reminded that crises in the world occur periodically. “There are economic booms and recessions. We, when lived in Soviet Union, did not notice it,” the President said.

The head of state also informed that the next Address to the People of Kazakhstan will be devoted to the post-crisis development of the country.
