DUSHANBE, February 1, 2010, Asia-Plus  — I am sure that families in Dushanbe, except vulnerable ones, will buy shares in open joint-stock company (OJSC) NBO Roghun for 5,000 somoni (TJS) each by April this year, Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev, Dushanbe Mayor also Chairman of the Majlisi Milli (Tajikistan’s upper chamber of parliament), remarked at the extraordinary session of the Majlisi Milli in Dushanbe on January 30.

He called on members of the Majlisi Milli to set an example in this case for the whole population of the country.

“According to our estimates, more than 30,000 families in Dushanbe, except the vulnerable ones, have bought shares in Roghun for 2,200 somoni each by January 30,” Ubaidulloyev said.

According to the Dushanbe mayor’s office, physical and legal entities in Dushanbe bought Roghun shares for more than 250 million somoni during the period from January 6 to January 30 this year.
