DUSHANBE, February 1. 2010, Asia-Plus  — On Saturday January 30, Muhiddin Kabiri, leader of the Islamic Revival Party (IRPT), met with voters in Qurghon Teppa, the capital of Khatlon province.

According to IRPT’s head office in Dushanbe, Kabiri acquainted them with the party pre-election platform and answered to numerous questions of voters.

The same day, Kabiri met with the party activists in the Khatlon province to discuss preparation of the IRPT primary organizations functioning in the area for the upcoming elections to the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament) and local legislatures.

In the meantime, IRPT yesterday opened an account at the branch of Amonatbonk (Tajikistan’s savings bank) in Dushanbe for collection of donations for pre-election campaign of the party.
