KHOROG, March 15, 2010, Asia-Plus  — On March 14, the second round of voting for the GBAO regional council (Majlis) took place in five constituencies on March 14.

Tavakkal Ramazonov, head of the GBAO regional electoral commission, says candidates from the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDPT) won elections in four constituencies and the Communist Party (CPT) won election in one constituency.

“Besides, repeated elections will be held in two other constituencies on April 25,” Tavakkalov said.
