KULOB, March 19, 2010, Asia-Plus  — The Association of Development and Support of Entrepreneurship in Tajikistan (Association) has opened its representative office in the city of Kulob today.

The Association director Davlat Jumayev says the office will cover the entire Kulob zone of Khatlon province.  According to him, many entrepreneurs in the area do not have favorable legal backstopping and the office will organize training and seminars for local businesspeople and provide legal services to them.

“The Association of Development and Support of Entrepreneurship in Tajikistan now groups more than 20,000 entrepreneurs and operates in line with the national concept of development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) deigned for the period until 2015,” Jumayev said.
