DUSHANBE. June 1. “Asia-Plus” — Senior officials of French construction companies, director general of Safema Gayoma Jiscar D’Esten and his colleague from Alfa Airport Daniel Rave, will arrive in Dushanbe on June 3 to observe the ongoing construction of a new international terminal in the Dushanbe airport, a spokesman for the Dushanbe International airport Mahmadyusuf Shodiev told the AP.

According to him, top officials of French construction companies are planning to observe the ongoing construction of a new international terminal and will meet with senior officials of the International Dushanbe Airport to discuss related issues of further construction.

The new terminal is expected to become operational in September 2011 in the 20th anniversary of Tajikistan’s Independence.

The project costs 27mln Euro, of which 7mln were allocated by the government of Tajikistan and 20mln by French companies.
