DUSHANBE, August 10, 2010, Asia-Plus – “Tajikairnavigation” has given the technical specification to two companies – Finnish «Vaisala» and Czech «Era Corporation» on preparation of the necessary airnavigation equipment, – «AP» has informed to State unitary enterprise “Tajikairnavigation”.
According to the source, the company intends to convert all system of navigation completely. «By estimation, the order which will be carried out for us by the Finnish and Czech companies, will not exceed $1 million, – has noted a source. – the equipment is necessary for replacement of meteorological and location systems».
The source has noticed that for today achievement of “Tajikairnavigation” is put into operation of the auxiliary centre in Sogd region, this point, which supervises all flight in northern part of the country.
«Thanks to this point, for the first time in the history of Tajikistan management of air space in the north of the country has passed in our hands. Till this time, 70 years of the Soviet power and 20 years of independence of the Republic the control of this territory had been carried out by the Uzbek party. Work in the given auxiliary centre is carried out to the full», – said the source.
