DUSHANBE, January 20, 2011, Asia-Plus  — 100,440 marriage certificates were issued in Tajikistan in 2010, which is 952 certificates fewer than in 2009, Minister of Justice Bakhtiyor Khudoyorov remake data news conference in Dushanbe on January 20.

In 2009, Tajik registry offices issued 101,392 marriage certificates.

In the meantime, 6,125 divorce certificates were issued by Tajik registry offices last year, which is 284 certificates more than in 2009.

189,187 birth certificates were issued over the report period, which is 9842 certificates more than in 2009, Khudoyorov said.  In 2009, the registry offices issued 175,345 birth certificates.

In all, 442,795 documents were registered by Tajik registry offices in 2010, the minister added.
