DUSHANBE, February 8, 2011, Asia-Plus  — The Dushanbe central department store (TSUM) is said to have been suspended due to internal contradictions.

Ms. Tojinisso Mehraliyeva, the deputy director general of joint stock company (JSC) Furushgohi Markazi (TSUM), says the Dushanbe Economic Court has handed down ruling to suspend the TSUM operations following an application by Abdullo Odinayev, head of the TSUM sewing workshop.

“Odinayev does not agree with the Furushgohi Markazi board’s decision to shift from the commission contract to the real agreement,” said Mehraliyeva, “He had earlier applied to Higher Economic Court of Tajikistan over this subject but Higher Economic Court did not sustain his claim.  The Dushanbe Economic Court, however, answered to his claim for some obscure reason.”  Ms. Mehraliyeva said, refrained from giving further comments.

Judge Farrukh Khojayev from the Dushanbe Economic Court who has handed down ruling on suspending the TSUM operations has also refrained from commenting on the case.

We wile call that operations of the Central Department Store (TSUM), which is one of Dushanbe’s oldest stores, have been suspended following the ruling handed down by the Dushanbe Economic Court.  TSUM was sealed Tuesday morning.
