DUSHANBE, April 5, 2011, Asia-Plus  — By Dushanbe mayor’s decree outdoor surveillance cameras are to be installed at all Dushanbe’s enterprises and organizations irrespective of forms of property until April 15, Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor’s office, said.

According to him, this issue was discussed at an April 4 meeting of the mayor’s office.

The Dushanbe municipal government also considered issues related to the beginning of preparations for the 2012 International Navrouz Day.

Tajik capital will host the International Navrouz Festival next year and many foreign delegations led by heads of state and heads of government from countries celebrating Navrouz are expected to arrive in Dushanbe in 2012.

The meeting also discussed issues related to the municipal engineering, providing the city’s population with basic food products and maintaining public order, Saidov said.
