DUSHANBE, April 14, 2011, Asia-Plus  — Tajikistan’s gross domestic product (GDP) for January-March this year has exceeded 4.413 billion somoni (equivalent to some 984 million U.S. dollars), according to the Agency for Statistics under the President of Tajikistan.

GDP structure by sources of income included: production of services – 53.9 percent; production of goods – 30.5 percent; and taxes – 15.6 percent.

We will recall that the country’s GDP for 2010 was more than 24.704 billion somoni (more than US$5.6 billion at the exchange rate for early January 2011).
