DUSHANBE, April 19, 2011, Asia-Plus – Tajik prosecutor’s office has instituted criminal proceedings against Farhod Abdulloyev, 25, the son of the Tajik Supreme Court chairman Nusratullo Abdulloyev, who allegedly caused an accident in Dushanbe which led to the death of Chinese national, the news agency, CA-News, reported referring to Tajikistan’s law enforcement authorities.

The source says Farhod Abdulloyev is charged in fatal traffic accident, adding that they have not yet received an arrest warrant for Farhod Abdulloyev.

We will recall that a 46-year-old woman from China who worked for China Roads and Bridge Corporation in Tajikistan was killed in a traffic accident in Dushanbe on April 12.  According to the Interior Ministry traffic police directorate, the accident took place on the Amirshoyev Street.  “The BMW driven by 25-year-old Farhod Abdulloyev ran over the woman, who died on spot,” the source said.
