DUSHANBE, April 20, 2011, Asia-Plus  — In his address to the parliament, President Emomali Rahmon has expressed serious concern about spread of synthetic narcotics to the country along with other narcotic substances.

According to him, synthetic narcotics are distributed at clubs, restaurants and other entertainment facilities.

“Today, we must use all means to prevent this threat.  Later it will be too late, because in some countries, many children under eleven years of age have become drug-dependent,” the president said, noting that one of goals of the parental responsibility law is in fighting this threat.  

Rahmon pointed to the necessity of development of sports and propagation of healthy lifestyle as one of ways of development of healthy nation.
