DUSHANBE, June 24, 2011, Asia-Plus  — A new modern school has been put into operation in Dushanbe on the threshold of the National Unity Day.

School # 39 has been built in Dushanbe’s Shohmansour district.  A total cost of the project is 8.9 million somoni.

The school-opening ceremony was attended by President Emomali Rahmon, Dushanbe Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidylloyev and Minister of Education Abdujabbor Rahmonov.

The school will accommodate 1,320 pupils in two shifts.  It has twenty-five classes, two computer classes and four labs.  The school is also provided with autonomous heating system and has nymphaeum.

Speaking at the inaugurating ceremony, President Rahmon noted that the school does not have analog in the country.

On the same day, the head of state participated in inaugurations of an additional education building for School # 16 in Shohmansour district and a new education building for School # 66 in Dushanbe’s Sino district.
