DUSHANBE, November 21, 2011, Asia-Plus  — A group of representatives of the Islamic Revival Party (IRP), led by the IRP deputy leader Saiduamr Husaini, who is also deputy of the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower house of parliament), is currently in Moscow to study the state of Tajik labor migrants working in the Russian Federation, according IRP’s  headquarters.

The source says the party has decided to send its delegation to Russia after IRP board’s proposal to send a parliamentary delegation to Russia was refused.

The IRP representatives have already held talks with Tajik Ambassador to Russia Abdulmajid Dostiyev.  During the meeting, Husaini reportedly expressed perplexity over the position of the Russian authorities and stressed that verdict passed on Russian pilot in Tajikistan should not affect the state of Tajik labor migrants working in the Russian Federation.

He also informed Ambassador Dostiyev that the delegation intends to hold a number of meetings with representatives of Tajik Diasporas, Russia civil society, Russian politicians and clerics, the source added.
