DUSHANBE, November 21, 2011, Asia-Plus  — Tajik Defense Minister, Colonel-General Sherali Khairulloyev, departed for Minsk, Belarus today morning for a three-day working visit, Faridoun Mahmadaliyev, a spokesman for the Ministry of Defense (MoD), said.

During his stay in Minsk, Tajik defense minister is scheduled to hold talks with his Belarusian counterpart, Lieutenant-General Yuri Zhadobin, to discuss issues related to military and technical cooperation between Tajikistan and Belarus both in bilateral format and within the frameworks of the CIS, the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) and the Eurasian Economic Community (EAEC).

Sherali Khairulloyev will also visit a number of military units of Belarusian Armed Forces, the spokesman said.
