KHUJAND, December 4, 2011, Asia-Plus  — Six suicide cases have been reported in the northern Sughd province this week alone.

Local experts says those committed suicide have been motivated by economic and family problems.

According to data from the Sughd police directorate, 146 suicides and 57 suicide attempts have been registered in northern Tajikistan over the first ten months of this year.
