DUSHANBE, December 26, 2011, Asia-Plus  — Issues related to interaction between Tajikistan’s Migration Service and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) were discussed at a meeting of Safiallo Devonayev, Head of the Migration Service under Government Tajikistan and Zeynal Hajiyev, Chief of Mission, IOM Tajikistan that took place here on December 23, the Migration Service press center reports.

In the course of the talks, Hajiyev reportedly informed Devonayev of the IOM projects that are designed for 2012 and will be implemented in close cooperation with Tajik Migration Service.

For his part, Devonayev appreciated IOM’s contribution to regulation of migration processes in Tajikistan and expressed gratitude that one of the IOP projects designed for the next year aims to raise capacity of Tajikistan’s Migration Service, the source said.
