DUSHANBE, February 1, 2012, Asia-Plus  — On Wednesday February 1, Safiallo Devonayev, Chairman of the Migration Service under the Government of Tajikistan, met here with Ms. Baktiya Muhammadiyeva, Director of the Agency for Statistics under the President of Tajikistan.

According to the Migration Service press center, the two discussed the implementation of the government’s decree of 2008 on registration of out-migration of nationals of Tajikistan and their return from abroad.

The sides reportedly agreed to set up joint working groups to establish exact registration of migration at all Tajikistan’s border-crossing checkpoints, the source said.
