TajikAir launches Khujand – Kulob – Kurgon-Teppa flight

On May 1 TajikAir launched the Khujand – Kulob – Kurgon-Teppa flight. The flight will be performed once a week by MA-60 aircraft.

Aircrafts will depart from Khujand at 13:00, from Kulob at 15:00 and from Kurgon-Teppa at 16:20, TajikAir reported. “The ticket to Kulob and Kurgon-Teppa from Khujand will cost $60,” the air company has said.

Currently, TajikAir’s share in Tajikistan’s air market makes 29.6% (470.600 people). This is 5.3% less as compared to 2010. However, the load of aircrafts in 2011 has increased by 4.6% while the company’s income raised by 10%.

The air company carries out flights to eight cities of Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Iran, China, UAE (Sharjah) and local flights to Khujand and Khorog.

In the nearest future the company plans to carry out flights to Bangkok, Dubai, Delhi, Karachi, Islamabad and Seoul. From January 18 2012 the company resumed flights to Istanbul.
