Another three Tajik wrestlers qualified for the 2012 London Olympic Games.

Three Tajik freestyle wrestlers Yusuf Abdusalomov, Zalimkhan Yusupov and Nikolay Noev qualified to the 2012 London Olympic Games through the Olympic qualifier tournament in Finnish Vantaa, international wrestling federation (FILA) reported.

In the tournament which ended on May 6 84kg Beijing silver medalist Yusuf Abdusalamov won his fight against Korean wrestler Gwan-Yuk-Kim – 4:0, 0:4, 6:0 – and won the first place. Zalimkhan Yusupov managed to win his fight in 66kg weight division against Polish wrestler Adam Soberai (4:0).

Yakutian Nikolay Noev, who represents Tajikistan, was very close to his win but lost to Mongolian wrestler Naranbaatar Bayare. However, he qualified for the 2012 London Summer Olympic Games and became the fourth Tajik sportsman to go to the 2012 London Olympic. The first was Iskandari Rustam.
