On Tuesday Tajik Minister of Energy and Industry Gul Sherali met with representatives of the Malaysian HOS International Trading (PTY) Ltd. In Dushanbe.

According to Tajik Ministry of Energy and Industry, the sides discussed construction of small and medium hydropower stations and construction of a coal-driven heat and power plant in Shurab village of Isfara region of Sughd province.

The meeting resulted in signing of Memorandum of cooperation between Tajik Ministry of Energy and Industry and HOS International Trading (PTY) Ltd for the construction of small and medium HPPs in Tajikistan and Memorandum of cooperation for the construction of a coal-driven heat and power plant.
