One hour after the accident rescuers took the drowned body handing it to the police, Tajik Emergency and Civil Defense Committee told AP.

Tajik State Emergency and Civil Defense Committee urge citizens of Tajikistan to be careful and follow safety measures during this year’s swimming season.

According to the committee, a total of 118 citizens and guests of the country drowned in lakes and rivers last year.
