Today, May 11, Chairman of the Majlisi Milli of the Majlisi Oli of Tajikistan Mahmadsaid Ubaidullaev met with the visiting Secretary of EurAsEC Interparliamentary Assembly Peter Zverev.

The sides discussed preparation procedures for and the agenda of a regular plenary session of EurAsEC’s IPA which is due in St. Petersburg on May 16 this year, Shavkat Saidov, Advisor to speaker of the Upper Chamber of Tajikistan’s Parliament told AP.

The sides expressed their confidence that the activity of EurAsEC’s IPA will contribute to further development of relations between members of this influential organization.

Tajik Delegation, which is expected to take part in the forthcoming EurAsEC’s IPA session, will be headed by the speaker of the Upper Chamber of Tajikistan’s Parliament M.Ubaidullaev.
