On May 10 ‘Bogi Poitaht’ (Capital’s park) opened it’s new season, which is dedicated to the launch of ‘Show your culture’ campaign.

Entrance ticket will cost 20 Somoni. This price will remain till May 20, a spokesman for the Dushanbe Mayor Shavkat Saidov told AP. Tickets for each park amusements will be sold at the same price.

‘Bogi Poitaht’ park opened on September 6, 2011. Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon and Dushanbe Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloev attended the opening ceremony. However, the park closed its doors after one week for repair.

In their report managers of the park claimed that due to some visitors’ behavior the condition of the park in the first two weeks of its activity was seriously damaged: catamarans, benches, street lamps, irrigation spraying machines, fountains were broken, flowers, bushes and trees were pulled out and etc.

At the same time, director of the park Gulchehra Sharipova said that second phase of construction works has been completed.
