KHUAJND, June 12, 2012, Asia-Plus — President Emomali Rahmon is starting a two-day working visit to the northern Sughd province today.

The head of state is scheduled to visit the Presidential Lyceum in the city of Chkalovsk and the Sughd Free Economic Zone (FEZ).

In Chkalovsk, President Rahmon is inaugurating a dormitory that will accommodate 400 students of the Presidential Lyceum.

While visiting the FEZ Sughd, President Emomali Rahmon will attend ceremonies of opening of three new industrial enterprises in the FEZ Sughd: the Turkish Silkoat Boya producing paint materials, the Star Plast enterprise producing plastic pipes and the Ravzana Plast enterprise producing plastic window and doors.

The head of state will also attend an exhibition of industrial enterprises operating in the territory of the FEZ Sughd.  26 industrial enterprises of Sughd, including three enterprises operating in the FEZ Sughd (Nekon, Ofarin and Skorut Taj), have put on display their outputs at the exhibition.
