DUSHANBE, August 29, 2012, Asia-Plus  — Representatives of Sozandagoni Vatan (Homeland Builders), which is the youth organization of the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP), is expected to hold a series of meetings with Tajik labor migrants working in the Russian Federation.  

Sozandagoni Vatan leader Adham Mirsaidov says their organization is launching a series of meetings in Siberia today.  “Our representatives will meet with Tajik labor migrants working in Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk and Novosibrsk,” said Mirsaidov.  “Our meeting sin Siberia will last till September 8.”

According to him, the meetings aiming to inform labor migrants about achievements of independent Tajikistan and government’s efforts to help tackle problems facing labor migrants are being held under support of offices of the Tajik migration service agency in Russia.

Sozandagoni Vatan is the youth organization of the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP).  The PDP created the Sozandagoni Vatan organization in July and its founding conference took place on July 27, 2011.  The conference elected Adham Mirsaidov, formerly head of the PDP organizing department, chairman of the Sozandagoni Vatan organization.  The organization was registered with the Ministry of Justice in November 2011.

The main objective of the organization is in fostering a spirit of patriotism, devotion to ideas of national self-consciousness and independence of the country in the young generation.
