DUSHANBE, December 21, 2012, Asia-Plus – An wards ceremony for the winners of the “Business Elite of Tajikistan” and “Top Ten Managers of Tajikistan” competitions is taking place at the Dushanbe-Plaza Center in Dushanbe today.   

The main objective of the competitions is in raising image of Tajik entrepreneurship through promoting the most successful managers and forming positive image of both one company and the country’s entrepreneurship as a whole.

In the “Business Elite of Tajikistan” competition, the winners have been determined in ten nominations, and in the “Top Ten Managers of Tajikistan” competition, the winners have been determined in five nominations.

In the “Business Elite of Tajikistan” competition, the following companies were recognized as winners: the Avicenna limited company; the Alcon-Dushanbe limited liability company; the Aspendos Travel limited liability company;  the BDO limited liability company; the Babilon-T limited liability company; closed joint-stock company (CJSC) Guliston; Doro LTD; CJSC Kombinaty Shiri Dushanbe (Dushanbe milk plant); the Mir Foto limited liability company; open joint-stock company (OJSC) Murghi Hilol; JSC Ob-Hayot; the Ormazd Engineering limited liability company; the Red Line limited liability company; CJSC Ros-Asia Invest (Poytakht Business Center); the Rukhom limited liability company; the state unitary enterprise (SUE) Tajikistan Aluminum Company (TALCO); CJSC Tajam (Sim-Sim trademark); the Textile-City limited liability company; the Toj Sokhtmon Bainalmillal limited liability company; and the Tojik Marmar limited liability company.

The winners of the “Top Ten Managers of Tajikistan” competition are: Oskandar Hodi Said (JSC Ob-Hayot); Sheralisho Kabirov (TALCO); Nourali Niyozov (CJSC TADES); Mahmadali Odinayev (OJSC Murghi Hilol); Tojiddin Pirov (Tajik Sodirot Bonk or TSB); Nourinisso Rustamova (Bovari va Hamkori); Zayd Saidov (APPT); Hazarali Saidov (CJSC Kombinaty Shiri Dushanbe); Igor Umarov (CJSC Tajam); and Behzod Fayzlloyev (Babilion-T).

The competitions were organized by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade (MEDT), the State Committee for Investments and State-owned Property Management (GosKomInvest); Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) and the Coordination Council of Business Associations and Public Unions of Tajikistan.
