DUSHANBE, May 23, 2013, Asia-Plus – A citizen of Tajikistan who threw a stone at the door of the Brazilian Embassy in Moscow has proved to be mentally ill.
Mohammad Egamzod, an official representative of the Tajik Embassy in Moscow, says that Abdullo Bobozoda, 22, is mentally ill.
“His mother says he was student at Northern (Arctic) Federal University named after M. V. Lomonosov in Arkhangelsk. Abdullo sustained a serious brain injury in 2011 after a car hit him in Arkhangelsk,” Egamzod said.
He added that all necessary medical documents had been submitted to the Moscow police department.
We will recall that Abdullo Bobozoda was detained in Moscow on May 18 after he threw a stone at the door of the Brazilian Embassy in Moscow.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against him under the provision of Article 213 (1) of Russia’s Penal Code – disorderly conduct.
Russian news agency, Interfax, reported on May 21 that according to the press center of the Moscow police department, a citizen of Tajikistan who threw a stone at the door of the Brazilian Embassy in Moscow said he had done that in protest against Brazil’s nuke waste management policy.
