DUSHANBE, July 9, 2013, Asia-Plus — A group of unidentified persons reportedly attacked the branch of Agroinvestbonk in the Fayzobod district, some 56 kilometers east of Dushanbe and killed security guard.

Mahmadullo Asadulloyev, a spokesman for the Ministry of Interior (MoI), says the incident took place on July 8, at 6:05 pm.

“Unidentified persons entered the bank and killed the security guard Rahmonkhouja Sheralizoda,” Asadulloyev said, noting that the security guard was shot to death from his government-issue weapon, AKS (Kalashnikov assault rifle).

The assailants tried to force the safe but failed and escaped, the spokesman added.

The search operation for criminal is under way.
