DUSHANBE, August 13, 2013, Asia-Plus – Tajik Foreign Minister Hamrokhon Zarifi says that somebody is maintaining a fake Facebook account in his name.

Zarifi says on his Facebook account that he spotted the fake Facebook in his name on August 7.  According to him, the holder of his fake Facebook has copied all information from his real Facebook account and posted it on the fake account.

Meanwhile, creation of fake Facebook accounts in name of politicians and known public figures is reportedly quite a spread in Tajikistan.

Thus, the fake accounts in names of President Emomali Rahmon, Social-Democratic Party (SDP) leader Rahmatillo Zoirov, prominent Tajik religious figure Hoji Akbar Turajonzoda, as well as a number of known Tajik clerics can be found on Facebook, the source said.
