DUSHANBE, October 8, 2013 Asia-Plus – Regulation of labor migration process was a major topic of a meeting of Safiallo Devonayev, Chairman of the Migration Service under the Government of Tajikistan with Konstantin Romodanovsky, Chairman of Russia’s Federal Migration Service (FMS) that took place here on October 7.

According to the Tajik migration service agency press center, the sides discussed a broad range of issues related to labor migration cooperation between their countries, including the implementation of a government-to-government agreement between Tajikistan and Russia on labor activity and protection of rights of Tajik nationals in Russia and protection of rights of Russian nationals in Tajikistan.

Devonayev and Romodanovsky reportedly also discussed the procedure of exchange of information between their agencies.
