DUSHANBE, December 25, 2013, Asia-Plus — Specialists from China’s company, Beijing Uni-Construction Group Co., Ltd, are making preparations for installation of the second coal-fired rotary kiln at the Dushanbe cement plant (Tojikcement).

We will recall that after being closed for ten months, the Dushanbe cement plant was reopened on October 2.  It has become possible due to installation of the first coal-fired rotary kiln at the plant.

Beijing Uni-Construction Group Co., Ltd has installed the coal-fired rotary kiln at the Dushanbe cement plant, which is Tajikistan’s largest cement-producing enterprise.

The Dushanbe cement plant has four large rotary kilns with capacity of 600 tons cement per day each and two small rotary kilns with capacity of 300 tons each.

The Dushanbe cement plant with rated capacity of 1.2 million tons was not in operation for ten months due to lack of natural gas.
