DUSHANBE, March 7, 2014, Asia-Plus – An operation carried out by police officers in Khatlon’s Shouroobod district this week led to the arrest of Afghan drug smuggler, the Interior Ministry’s website reports.

36 kilograms of cannabis were reportedly confiscated from him.

Criminal proceedings have been instituted against the detained drug smuggler and an investigation is under way.
