Two other foreign airlines to operate flights to Tajikistan

DUSHANBE, April 2, 2014, Asia-Plus — Open Joint-Stock Company (OJSC) Dushanbe International Airport (DIA) has endorsed the summer flight schedule designed for the period from March 30 to June 30, 2014.

According to DIA press center, two other foreign airlines will operate flights to Tajikistan – Air Arabia and Ukraine International Airlines.    

Air Arabia is a low-cost airline with its head office in the Sharjah Freight Center, Sharjah International Airport, in Sharjah , United Arab Emirates.

The airline operates scheduled services to 51 destinations in the Middle East, North Africa, the Indian subcontinent, Central Asia and Europe to 22 countries from Sharjah, 28 destinations in 9 countries from Casablanca, Fez, Nador, Tangier and Marrakesh and 6 destinations in 4 countries from Alexandria.

Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) is the flag carrier and the largest airline of Ukraine, based in Kyiv and its Boryspil Airport.

It operates scheduled domestic and international passenger flights and cargo services to Europe, Middle East, and Asia; non-stop flights to the U.S. are planned.

Beginning on April 14, Tajik national air carrier, Tajik Air, will operate flights from Dushanbe to Guangzhou (China), the source said.  This flight will be operated once a week – on Mondays
