DUSHANBE, April 10, 2014, Asia-Plus – Four Tajik nationals have been arrested in Moscow on suspicion of attacking cash collectors in the eastern part of the Russian capital city, Moscow police department press center reported on April 10.

Four unidentified assaulters armed with assault rifle and traumatic pistol reportedly attacked two cash collectors near the entrance to one of Moscow plants in December last year and seized 2 million Russian rubles.  Both the cash collectors sustained bullet wounds and were hospitalized.

Criminal proceedings were instituted under the provisions of Article 162 (4) of Russia’s Penal Code – large-scale robbery.

Four Tajik nationals aged 27 to 30 were arrested on suspicion of committing this crime and police are seeking weapons from which they shot at the cash collectors, the Moscow police department press center says.
