DUSHANBE, June 2, 2014, Asia-Plus – A result of fight between senior pupils of high schools ## 66 and 54 in Dushanbe’s Sino district, the 11th grade student from school # 66 has been stabbed to death.

An official source at the Ministry of Education and Science (MoES) says the incident took place in Dushanbe’s neighborhood 91 on May 30 at around 8:00 pm.

According to some sources, the conflict arose from a word battle between two school students in one of social networks.

The Interior Ministry’s website reports that nine school students aged 17 to 18 and 19-year-old of Dushanbe, Bahrullo Asoyev, were detained.  Criminal proceedings have been instituted and an investigation is under way.

The MoES source says Interior Minister Ramazon Rahimzoda and Minister of Education and Science Nouriddin Saidov on June 2 held a meeting in School # 54.  Principals of other Dushanbe schools also attended the meeting.
